Summary of Pending Case: In re Refrigerant Compressors Antitrust Litigation (E.D. Mich.). The firm represents a class of plaintiff direct purchasers in a multidistrict class action alleging that the major manufacturers of refrigerant compressors in the United States conspired with one another to fix and artificially inflate prices. After an initial Status Conference with the Court, the plaintiffs recently filed competing motions for appointment of lead and liaison counsel and an executive committee. Those motions are awaiting decision.
