Summary of Pending Case: In re Blood Reagents Antitrust Litigation (E.D. Pa.). The firm represents a class of plaintiff direct purchasers in a multidistrict class action alleging that the two major suppliers of blood reagents in the United States conspired with one another to fix and artificially inflate prices. The Court recently held an initial Status Conference, and thereafter several plaintiff groups have filed competing motions for appointment of lead and liaison counsel. Those motions are awaiting decision.
